New Mississippi River Bridge

UPDC provided land acquisition and relocation services in conjunction with the New Mississippi River Bridge Project.  As prime consultant on this project, UPDC managed a team of real estate professionals in the acquisition of property for the construction of a new bridge over the Mississippi, connecting Missouri and Illinois. In this effort, UPDC managed all aspects of acquisition, impacting approximately 200 parcels, consisting of residents, businesses, billboards, railroads and a cell tower.

As required for federally funded programs with relocation, UPDC authored a Relocation Plan detailing the orderly relocation of occupants of residential and commercial properties.  The Relocation Plan further addressed the relocation of outdoor advertising signs and a cell tower.  Developed in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Act and subsequent amendments, the Relocation Plan was submitted to and approved by IDOT.
